This is so amazing. How do you not have more fans?

SuperSoniker responds:

I just started recently, I will only need more time and also more activity :)

Wow, this is really good! I like the experimental vibe and the overall atmosphere! My only concern is that the whole song is on the high end, maybe add some bass.

FateModified responds:

Thank you! I totally agree with you about needing more bass. Plus to me in its current state it feels more like a long intro instead of a fully fleshed out song...

One of your best in my opinion! The beat is really catchy and the acid synths are great! (Which instrument on soundtrap was the acid synth at the start?)

Tapestoppa responds:

Thanks!
And what I used was Fonk Classic

awesome

JohnMontoya responds:

Thank you so much!

epic. you should make more green grape songs

Tapestoppa responds:

That's a good idea. Thanks!

It's really catchy!

Tapestoppa responds:

Thanks But Im not really sure if this is the final or not

This is amazing! The opening makes me feel like I am floating in the sky, and the clap at 0:22 fits perfectly. The atmosphere is awesome, the way i's constantly shifting! I really like the drums from 1:00 to 1:40 too! I like the drop, but I think you could maybe add a bit more reverb when it drops out and add just a bit more kick to the drop. Afterwards though, the final section is great! The whole piece gives a very surreal and uplifting feel! Congrats on the radio play aswell! This is my first time listening to world music but now I want to listen to more!

Troisnyx responds:

Thank you so much for the kind words. And for the mixing tips; I did this at a time where I didn't know what worked in mixing and why.

This is really great!

DomAndFroShow responds:

Thank you so much for listening!

I like the rhythm and beat, but alot of the transitions seem a bit abrupt. For example, at the beginning I was expecting a more 'techno' song, but then the trumpet came in with no warning. I'm not saying I don;t like more melodic/classical instruments (I overuse piano sooo much in my own music) but the atmosphere really shifted unexpectedly. Overall, good. I just think the atmosphere needs to be maintained a bit more.

Ironically all of the sounds are 100% electronically generated, except for drums. I was trying to go for a synth bass, but I guess I'd have to adjust the timbre a little more to make it sound more deep.

Oh well, it's been a long time and I've evolved since then off-NG, so I guess I'll remember this if I make future bass projects.

I love it! The melody is very uplifting and has nice variety! My only concern is that in the dubstep parts the dubstep sounds are quiet and sound out of place. Overall, though, this is amazing!

Edit: Actually, listening to it again, the dubstep sounds sound great!

DJVI responds:

Hahah well I'm glad that you eventually liked it :D thanks!

Hello, I am an independent musician who uses GarageBand (no i do not use loops). I make electronic music with elements of piano. My songs are heavily inspired by artists like Waterflame and Creo.
